Boxycharm June 2017

What is Boxycharm? Boxycharm* is a monthly beauty subscription box which is $21USD per month; $5 shipping to Canada. In Canadian dollars it works out to be roughly $35 per month – which in my opinion is still a great deal considering the value of the box is usually well over $100 worth of product.

How Does It Work? It’s simple, go to the Boxycharm website & sign up. You can choose to do monthly payments, payments every 6 months or yearly payments. These will automatically come out of your bank account & will only stop once you cancel your subscription. Payments are typically taken off on the 2nd day of each month & the box is normally shipped out by the 10th day.

June 2017 Boxycharm (Downtown Charm)

This month’s box is amazing! I personally really love everything in this month’s box – Boxycharm has been getting better & better every month. Makes me super excited to see what next month’s box will bring. You get 4-5 full size (sometimes deluxe sizes) each month & the box usually has some sort of theme to it – which I find super cute. In this months box I got the following items:

RealHer Eyeshadow Palette (I) – $28.00
Biobelle Cosmetics Sheet Mask Trio – $14.97
ArtistCouture Diamond Glow Powder – $26.99
Ofra Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick – $19.90
Luxie Beauty Tapered Face Brush – $24.00

The overall value of this months box was $113.86USD which is a pretty decent deal considering you’re only paying $21USD. Like I said, I love everything I’ve got this month! There’s  not one item that I didn’t like or that I won’t get use out of.

The eye shadow palette is full of colors that I love. They’re extremely pigmented & blend really well. I wish there was one or two more mattes in this palette but overall, it’s a really nice item to have in my collection.

I’ve only used one of the three masks so far, but it left my skin feeling very hydrated & soft. I’m excited to try out the others ones I got, especially the primer mask. I find that such a unique concept so I’ll definitely update you on how well it works under makeup. The brush is also a really nice item. It’s super soft & will work well for setting under the eyes or applying highlighter.

The highlighter I got is a tad too dark for my skin tone but it’s a nice shade nonetheless. It’s also a tad bit too glittery for my personal taste but I’m sure I’ll use it regardless. Lastly, the lipstick – it’s not really my color but Ofra lipsticks have such an amazing formula. It lasts a really long time on the lips & it’s super opaque. It doesn’t crack or get crumbly which is also a plus!
